Summit County deputies are asking for help locating 28-year-old Cheyenne Sexton, who the Sheriff’s Office says is wanted on breaking-and-entering and fentanyl-possession offenses. The alert also doubles as a pitch for the agency’s mobile app, which sends residents future warrant bulletins and other public-safety updates.
Yesterday, in a bulletin, the Summit County Sheriff’s Office identified Sexton as being 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing about 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. The agency said anyone with information should contact its Detective Bureau at 330-643-2131.
What The Sheriff’s App Sends
The Sheriff’s Office app provides public-safety and agency news alerts, along with access to services including inmate searches, sheriff sales, concealed-carry information and the sex-offender registry. Officials caution that the app is not intended for emergencies, which should still be reported by calling 911.
Tips Should Go To Investigators
The Sheriff’s Office asked residents with information about Sexton to contact investigators rather than trying to intervene themselves. Its Warrants Unit handles current and outstanding warrants in Summit County and works with other law-enforcement agencies when needed.

The latest bulletin follows a pattern of pairing individual wanted-person alerts with a broader app-signup campaign. A previous Hoodline report noted that Summit County’s “Warrant Wednesday” posts have been used to distribute suspect descriptions and encourage residents to receive future alerts directly on their phones.
The Wednesday bulletin did not provide additional case details or indicate whether Sexton had been arrested. The offenses listed are allegations, and she is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
