The situation was contained, and authorities said they would release more details when they are able.
As reported by WCCS, Greenfield, the public information officer for Troop A, said PSP SERT was responding to "an armed individual who is barricaded inside a residence." The station's brief bulletin noted that "the incident is contained" and did not immediately provide additional specifics.
