Owner's note on delays
Owner and chef Christopher Krinsky told MySanAntonio that the buildout of the new restaurant took longer and cost more than the team had anticipated, delaying earlier reopening plans. To bridge the gap, the crew leaned on pop-ups and short residencies while the new kitchen and bar came together, a strategy Krinsky said kept staff working and helped the restaurant stay visible in the community during the break.

The ramen shop has already built a serious following. It was named to the Austin American-Statesman's 2023 Best New Restaurants list, as reported by the Express-News.
