The Blind Pour, a cozy new neighborhood hangout from longtime friends Dino Tripodis and Chris Beardman, is getting ready to slide into Uptown Westerville later this month. The snug, living room–style bar is taking over a tucked-away storefront on State Street and is aiming for a late-July debut. The spot will lean on straightforward drinks, simple bites, and an eclectic music mix designed to get people to settle in and stay awhile. The listed address is 20 S. State St., tucked behind Java Central and near High Bank Distillery.
According to 614Now, Tripodis has been describing The Blind Pour as “your home before you go home,” the kind of place he and Beardman spent years talking about building for themselves. The outlet reports that the pair are keeping the approach intentionally simple and are eyeing the end of July for opening.
Owners’ vision
“We're not trying to be anything other than what we are,” Tripodis told 614Now. He said landing a space next to Fat Arnie’s, a family-owned Uptown business, helped the timing feel right and matched the relaxed neighborhood atmosphere they want to cultivate.
Where it will sit
According to the Westerville Area Chamber, The Blind Pour is listed at 20 S. State St., Ste. H in Uptown Westerville, alongside other State Street storefronts. The chamber’s listing also links to the bar’s official site, underscoring that the new spot will share the block with existing coffee shops and the local distillery.
When to expect more
WhatNow notes that no firm opening date has been announced yet and reports that its staff reached out to The Blind Pour for more details. The bar’s website lists a contact email, [email protected], which the owners are using for questions and updates as they tighten up the final pieces before opening night.
