
A man is in a fight for his life after being stabbed in the chest Monday evening in the Kingsbridge section of the Bronx, according to police. First responders rushed him to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

As reported by News12 Bronx, a 911 call came in around 5 p.m. about a man stabbed during a dispute involving a group of unknown people at 3190 Riverdale Ave. Police said the victim was taken to the hospital in critical condition. No arrests had been made at the time of the station’s report, and detectives are actively investigating what led up to the violence.
Same Kingsbridge Address Under Scrutiny After Wellness Center Death
The Riverdale Avenue address, listed online as the Bereshit Lifestyle Center, had already drawn police attention one day earlier. A 27‑year‑old woman was transported from the location to a hospital on Sunday and later died, according to Norwood News. The outlet reported that authorities arrested 55‑year‑old Luis Rojas Cabrera on charges that include reckless endangerment and unauthorized practice of a profession. Officials have not publicly linked that case to Monday’s stabbing.
50th Precinct Handling Case, Tips Sought From Public
The NYPD’s 50th Precinct, which covers Kingsbridge and Riverdale, is based at 3450 Kingsbridge Avenue, according to the department. Investigators are asking anyone with information about the stabbing to contact NYPD Crime Stoppers at 1‑800‑577‑TIPS or submit tips online, per the NYPD.
