
Late on a Monday night in Bedford Park, a 43-year-old man was surrounded, beaten and slashed at the corner of Villa Avenue and East 204th Street, and police say they are still looking for the four people involved.
The assault unfolded on June 15 at about 11:18 p.m., when a group of four attacked the man, according to police. During the beating, one of the assailants pulled out a sharp object and cut the victim in the abdomen while the group punched and kicked him.

Police bulletin and how to report
According to NYPD Crime Stoppers, the four unidentified individuals took off northbound on Villa Avenue after the attack. No arrests were announced in the bulletin.
Investigators are asking anyone with information to call the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS or the Spanish line at 1-888-57-PISTA. Police say tipsters whose information leads to an arrest and indictment may qualify for a reward of up to $3,500.
