A Bronx man is facing a barrage of federal sex charges after prosecutors say he lured a 16-year-old girl to New York, advertised her for sex and pocketed the proceeds.
Federal prosecutors in Manhattan unsealed a six-count indictment Wednesday charging 33-year-old Sean Chisolm with sex trafficking of a minor and child pornography offenses. He was arrested after the indictment alleges he persuaded the teen to travel to the Bronx, then profited from her commercial sex work. The case is being handled by the Southern District of New York’s Civil Rights and Human Trafficking Unit.
“Sex crimes, particularly those involving children, disgust us all and must be met with swift justice,” said U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton. https://x.com/i/status/2074959417985151310

Indictment Details And Charges
According to the indictment, SEAN CHISOLM, a/k/a “Slutty,” is charged with sex trafficking of a 16-year-old, coercion and enticement, transporting a minor across state lines for unlawful sexual activity, sexual exploitation of a child, and two counts of receipt and distribution of child pornography.
Prosecutors say Chisolm began enticing the minor in January 2026 to travel from out of state to New York. Once she arrived, he allegedly arranged multiple commercial sex encounters and required her to hand over the money she earned. The case is assigned to U.S. District Judge George B. Daniels and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Ariel Cohen and Meredith Foster, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York.
Alleged Recruitment, Ads And Recordings
The indictment and related public filings say Chisolm first had the minor send him a photograph and two videos of herself naked before she traveled to the Bronx. Prosecutors allege he then used those images in an online classifieds advertisement, describing the teen as “Fetish Friendly.”
They quote messages they say Chisolm sent instructing the victim to conceal her true age: “We just have to move correct ma... Because of ya age feel me? Never let anyone know ya real age but me NOBODY.” He allegedly directed her to follow his rules as part of the trafficking scheme. Those details appear in the charging documents and related filings from the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York.
Prosecutors And Police Respond
U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton labeled the allegations “among the worst crimes in our society” and warned that “if you sexually abuse a minor, we will find you and you will go to prison.”
In public statements, prosecutors credited the NYPD’s Special Victims Unit and the department’s citywide human trafficking investigators for their work on the case, pointing to it as an example of the ongoing partnership between local detectives and federal agents.
Local Context
Federal trafficking prosecutions involving minors have been stacking up in the Bronx this year. Just last month, a separate Bronx trafficker was sentenced to more than 17 years in federal prison, a reminder that these cases are drawing serious time.
Advocates and prosecutors say criminal prosecutions are only one piece of the response, which they argue also has to include victim support services and prevention efforts aimed at stopping exploitation before it starts.
Legal Outlook
The charges Chisolm faces carry stiff penalties under federal law, including mandatory minimum sentences on several counts and possible prison terms that could stretch decades.
The indictment is an accusation, not a conviction, and Chisolm is presumed innocent unless and until he is proven guilty in court. Prosecutors say the investigation is ongoing and further court proceedings are expected.
