
A 15-year-old boy was left with a laceration after an unidentified person allegedly struck him in the head with a glass bottle in Brooklyn, and police are asking the public for help identifying the attacker.

Police Say Suspect Fled West On 3rd Street
The teenager sustained a head laceration, according to the NYPD notice. No suspect has been identified publicly, and the department did not announce an arrest in the Crime Stoppers appeal.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed the encounter or recognized the person involved to come forward. The department lists 1-800-577-TIPS for tips, along with the Spanish-language line at 1-888-57-PISTA.
Anonymous Tips Could Earn Up To $3,500
Tips can be submitted anonymously, and NYC311 says a tip leading to an arrest and indictment in a qualifying violent felony case may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,500. The city also directs tipsters to the NYPD Crime Stoppers website, while emergencies should be reported by calling 911.
