A familiar Buckhead chicken stop is about to serve its final sandwich after nearly two decades in the neighborhood. The Chick-fil-A inside Terminus 100 will close Friday, ending an 18-year run at one of Atlanta’s busiest business and dining crossroads.
Signs posted at the restaurant say Friday will be its last day of service, WSB-TV reports. The owners thanked customers for their support and said they enjoyed serving the Terminus community with “great food and smiles.” No reason for the closure was provided, and WSB-TV notes that Chick-fil-A still operates nearly three dozen other Atlanta locations.
Another Buckhead Chick-fil-A Is Already Nearby
The closure does not mean Buckhead is losing Chick-fil-A altogether. The chain’s Peachtree & Piedmont restaurant at 3234 Peachtree Road NE opened in May 2025, and Chick-fil-A’s official announcement said the location created about 60 full- and part-time jobs.
The restaurant’s exit also lands during a period of noticeable churn in Atlanta’s dining scene. Atlanta News First reported in January that four metro Atlanta restaurants had closed under Southern Proper Hospitality, including two Buckhead concepts, while a Buckhead Business Association leader characterized closures as part of the normal lifecycle of a highly competitive dining district.
For regulars, the timeline is short: Friday is the final chance to order from the Terminus 100 location before another long-running Buckhead lunch stop goes dark.
