Authorities say the argument erupted around 8:20 p.m. outside 1704 Broadway, where the teen was shot in the foot during the dispute. Neighbors described a heavy police and EMS response crowding the block and a nearby bus shelter as officers sealed off the scene.
Police: Victim Stable At LIJ Medical Center
According to News12 New York, the boy was taken by ambulance to Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition and expected to recover.

Local television outlet Univision reported the shooting happened near Cooper Street and Broadway, just steps from the J and Z subway lines and the B60 bus stop. Video on the station's site shows officers and medics clustered around the bus shelter, with paramedics dispatched shortly after 8:20 p.m.

Police sources told News12 New York they are searching for a man last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt, black pants and sunglasses. No arrests have been made, and detectives are asking anyone who saw the dispute or its aftermath to come forward.
