A parking-lot argument in Hanover escalated into a stabbing Wednesday evening, leaving one man hospitalized and a Catonsville resident facing a first-degree assault charge. Police said the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening.
According to Anne Arundel County police, officers responded around 8:35 p.m. to a reported assault in Hanover. They found a 48-year-old man with a stab wound to his torso after investigators determined that two men had been involved in a parking dispute that turned physical.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, WBFF reported. Authorities identified the suspect as 65-year-old Tony Maurice Horne of Catonsville, who was arrested at the scene.
Police List First-Degree Assault Charge
The county police release lists Horne as charged with first-degree assault. Officials did not publicly release additional details about what sparked the dispute or identify the victim.
