Jacob Bush, 29, of Circleville, died Tuesday after a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Route 188 and Royalton Road in Hocking Township, Fairfield County, according to authorities. Two other people suffered what troopers described as minor injuries and were taken to Mount Carmel East in Columbus. Troopers from the Lancaster post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded and shut down the roadway while they investigated the scene.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, as reported by WBNS, a Mitsubishi Mirage was attempting a left turn on State Route 188 when it failed to yield the right-of-way. A Ford Ranger traveling southwest on the route then struck the Mitsubishi. The impact pushed both vehicles off the roadway. Troopers identified the man who died as Jacob Bush and pronounced him dead at the scene. The patrol said the Ford's driver and a passenger in the Mitsubishi were transported to Mount Carmel East with minor injuries.
