
Police say a Saturday evening shooting outside a Claymont pizza shop left a 35-year-old woman shot in the face and a Wilmington man under arrest across state lines in Pennsylvania. The gunfire broke out in the 2100 block of Marsh Road, and investigators say the suspected gunman fled Delaware before being taken into custody.
Suspect Arrested In Pennsylvania
According to NBC10 Philadelphia, troopers identified the suspect as 39-year-old Paul Waller of Wilmington. Waller was arrested in Pennsylvania and has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm. He is in custody in Pennsylvania, awaiting extradition to Delaware.

The shooting happened around 6:45 p.m. Saturday outside a Papa John’s in the 2100 block of Marsh Road in Claymont, and the victim was taken to a nearby hospital where she remains in critical condition, according to 6abc. Investigators have not released further information about what led up to the gunfire.
