Police Release Few Details In Early Alert
CMPD News posted the alert at about 2:22 a.m. EDT Wednesday, identifying the case only as a “Homicide Investigation in the Eastway Division.” The post included a link to an Atlas One alert, but did not name a victim, provide a scene location, describe the circumstances or announce an arrest.
At the time of the alert, CMPD had not publicly identified a suspect or released information about how the death occurred. The department also reminded followers that its social media account is not monitored around the clock and directed people to call 911 for emergencies or 311 for non-emergency matters.
Investigation Remains Active
