Dallas police are asking for the public’s help after the same business in the 2200 block of Cedar Crest Boulevard was robbed three times this summer, on June 20, June 26 and July 9. No injuries were reported in any of the incidents, and detectives say surveillance images from the store could be the key to making arrests. Investigators have opened separate cases for each robbery and released the case numbers as the investigation continues.
According to DPD Beat, anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Jose Jimenez at 972-922-8659. The department listed case numbers 089608-2026, 092943-2026 and 100121-2026 and said images from inside the business may help detectives identify those involved.
Where the robberies happened
All three offenses were reported in the 2200 block of Cedar Crest Boulevard, the location cited in the department’s advisory. City crime data shows a broader shift in robbery patterns: the Dallas Police Department’s NIBRS briefing recorded roughly a 43% drop in business-robbery counts year to date through March 24, 2026, according to the Dallas Police Department. The contrast between the citywide decline and repeat hits at a single spot has put extra attention on this case.
Earlier sweeps and the role of tips
Law-enforcement sweeps earlier this year, including a March operation run with the U.S. Marshals, resulted in dozens of arrests and were credited with cutting into robbery numbers during the campaign. A U.S. Marshals press release said “Operation Clean Sweep” led to 61 arrests and cleared 123 warrants, and officials reported measurable reductions in robberies during the operation. Police say community tips and video footage often provide the final leads needed to crack serial-crime investigations.
