
A man in his 30s died Saturday after he was found with a gunshot wound in an Orange County neighborhood near Orlando, according to deputies. He was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The gunfire was reported around 10:40 a.m. in the 8400 block of Pamlico Street. Deputies said they found the victim at the scene and rushed him to an area hospital, where he died, according to FOX 35 Orlando. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity or any information about a possible suspect.
Investigation Underway
Investigators with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office remained at the scene as they opened an active investigation into the shooting. As of now, deputies have not publicly identified any suspects and have not disclosed a possible motive.
Officials' Statement
The sheriff’s office told local media that, at this time, they do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the public, according to WFTV. The case remains under investigation, and officials say additional details will be released as they become available.
