Video from the scene showed a stretch of Lane Avenue blocked off by police vehicles while detectives and traffic units worked the crash site. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office told reporters it would hold a news conference at 5:10 p.m., according to News4JAX, which said it planned to stream the briefing live.
