A heavy law-enforcement presence converged on the area, and the scene was still active shortly before 4 p.m. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office said the suspect’s injuries were not life-threatening and confirmed that no deputies were hurt.

According to News4JAX, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office said deputies were responding to the Blanding Boulevard area when the encounter unfolded, and the suspect was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
