A 21-year-old man was shot after an argument at a Detroit gas station earlier today, then ran from the lot until he collapsed in the street. The gunman remains at large, and police are asking anyone who knows what happened to come forward.
According to FOX 2 Detroit, the victim was wounded around 4 a.m. at a gas station in the 20000 block of Seven Mile. Medics took him to a nearby hospital, where he was listed in stable condition. Police described the suspect as a Black man in his early 40s wearing a black shirt and white Jordan gym shoes, and said anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP or DetroitRewards.tv.
Another Seven Mile Gas Station Shooting Recently Hit West Side
The shooting is the latest burst of violence at a gas station along West 7 Mile. Today, a separate drive-by shooting in the 18100 block wounded a man in his 20s, who was shot in the legs and also listed in stable condition, as detailed in Hoodline.
Police have not announced an arrest or released a possible motive in Wednesday's shooting. The investigation remains active as detectives work to identify the suspect and determine what led to the argument.
