Round Rock’s east-side retail corridor got a little busier on July 1, 2020, when Chick-fil-A fired up the fryers at its new single-story, freestanding restaurant at 2350 E Palm Valley Blvd. The opening added another drive-thru and carryout option on the city’s east side right as restaurants everywhere were pivoting operations in response to the early coronavirus pandemic.
According to Community Impact, the Palm Valley Chick-fil-A debuted on July 1, 2020, with its dine-in area initially closed because of the coronavirus, sticking to carryout, curbside pickup and drive-thru service. The outlet also noted the restaurant’s contact information and its role in filling out the neighborhood’s growing retail mix.
The chain’s official location page for the Palm Valley restaurant lists the address, current hours and service options and calls out on-site amenities such as a playground and catering pickup, along with mobile ordering and delivery partners for the store, according to Chick-fil-A.
How the Palm Valley Store Fits Into Regional Growth
The Palm Valley opening turned out to be just one part of a broader Round Rock buildout; Community Impact reported in 2024 that another Chick-fil-A opened in the city that year, bringing Round Rock’s tally to multiple locations. Coverage such as plans $4.5M Georgetown build has tracked filings and projects across Central Texas, including a planned $4.5 million construction in Georgetown in early 2026.
Customers looking to skip the line can check hours and order ahead through the Chick-fil-A One app or the Palm Valley restaurant’s location page, which also lists operator contact details and catering options, per Chick-fil-A. Local reporting has highlighted several nearby openings in recent years as the chain continues its steady expansion in Williamson County.
