A Sunday evening crosswalk crash in North Las Vegas left an e-bike rider with serious injuries and a driver in handcuffs on suspicion of impairment, according to police.
Officers said an adult man on an e-bike was hit while riding through a marked crosswalk and was rushed to a hospital. His exact condition was not immediately released, and lanes around the intersection were shut down while investigators worked the scene.

The collision happened at the intersection of Pecos Road and Cheyenne Avenue. A vehicle heading north on Pecos turned east onto Cheyenne and struck the e-bike rider as he crossed in the crosswalk, FOX5 reported.
According to the station, officers said the driver showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest. Eastbound Cheyenne was closed while first responders treated the rider and traffic investigators documented the scene.
