East Bridgewater detectives say a 21-year-old local man is facing child pornography charges after a search of his home turned up electronic devices tied to an ongoing child sexual abuse material investigation. Bradley Collins was arrested on July 1 after officers executed a search warrant at his residence and seized the devices. He was slated to be arraigned Tuesday on two counts of possession of child pornography and distribution of material of a child in a sexual act. Police say the probe began in June following a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and remains active.
Search Warrant And Devices Seized
According to East Bridgewater detectives, investigators obtained a search warrant for electronic devices believed to be in Collins’ possession and carried it out at his home on July 1. Officers seized two devices during the search, and Collins was taken into custody immediately afterward. The investigation, launched in June after a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, is still ongoing, according to Boston 25 News.
Police Statement
East Bridgewater Police Chief Jenkins did not mince words about the nature of the allegations.
“Cases involving the exploitation of children are among the most disturbing crimes our investigators encounter,” Chief Jenkins said in a statement. He also thanked partnering agencies, including the Massachusetts State Police, for their assistance in the investigation, per Boston 25 News.
Background: Earlier Camp Case
This is not Collins’ first time facing serious allegations involving a child. In September 2025, the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office said Collins was arraigned on separate charges after an incident at a summer camp where he allegedly photographed a young child. He pleaded not guilty and was released on $15,000 bail, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office. Coverage of that earlier Boys & Girls Club case detailed the prior allegations.
What’s Next
The criminal process will continue in Plymouth District Court as investigators assemble evidence and determine whether additional charges will follow. Authorities say they are working with partner agencies while the probe continues.
