The agency shared photos of emergency vehicles, and investigators lined along the shoulder and warned drivers to expect delays. Officials have not yet released the victim’s name or any details about how the collision occurred.
The sheriff’s office posted the photos along with a short traffic alert on its Facebook page, writing, “Traffic Alert: eastbound 175 at Buckner — left lane is blocked.” According to a Facebook post from the Dallas County Sheriff's Office, deputies and crash investigators were on scene early Saturday as crews documented the roadway.

Photos attached to the sheriff’s post show a stretch of flashing emergency lights, traffic cones and investigators working at the roadside while traffic is funneled into the remaining open lanes. Pedestrian deaths have been a persistent problem in Dallas.
