A man was hospitalized after being shot in the chest near Pecos Road and East Charleston Boulevard in Las Vegas. The shooting also triggered road closures as police investigated the scene.
The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 27, 2025, according to KTNV. Officers responding to reports of gunfire found a man with gunshot wounds to the chest and transported him to the nearest hospital, but his condition was not immediately available.
FOX5 Las Vegas reported that police had not released information about a possible suspect, an arrest or a motive. Eastbound and westbound lanes of East Charleston Boulevard were blocked between Pecos and Honolulu, while Pecos Road was also closed in both directions between Charleston and Sunrise during the investigation.
