Police in the Bronx have released a photo of a man they say is wanted in connection with two separate rapes in the Eastchester neighborhood, both along the same stretch of streets. Authorities have identified the suspect as 46-year-old Anthony Robinson and say each attack happened in the same Eastchester corridor. Both victims were taken to a local hospital and were reported in stable condition.
Police Release Image and Suspect Description
As reported by News12, investigators say both incidents happened between Boller and Tillotson avenues. The first attack occurred on Nov. 23, 2025, and involved a 30-year-old woman. The second was reported on May 6, 2026, when police say Robinson punched a 20-year-old woman before the assault. Police describe Robinson as about 5-foot-11 and roughly 190 pounds and have circulated a still image to the public. Detectives say the investigation remains active as they work to identify and locate the man in the photo.
How to Tip Investigators
Police are asking anyone with information to contact the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS or to submit an anonymous tip through the department's online portal, according to the NYPD Crime Stoppers website. Tips can be submitted in English or Spanish and may be eligible for a reward. Officials say even short pieces of video or small details from witnesses can help detectives move the case forward.
Where This Fits in Broader Trends
The public appeal comes amid an uptick in reported rapes in parts of the borough this year, a trend documented in local reporting. The Bronx Times has reported boroughwide increases, and a News12 analysis earlier this spring flagged rising rape reports in some precincts. Community groups and advocates say timely tips and bystander video have helped in other investigations and are urging anyone with information about the Eastchester attacks to come forward.
