A man with multiple outstanding warrants died early Friday after falling nine stories from an upper-level unit during an attempted arrest at the Lowell apartment building in Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood, according to the King County Sheriff’s Office. What started as a planned arrest quickly turned into a barricaded-person situation that drew a full tactical response. The man was taken toward Harborview Medical Center but died of his injuries while being transported.
