Fort Worth police released body-camera videos today from two fatal officer-involved shootings that happened last Saturday and Sunday, putting new footage into public view after two men died in separate encounters less than 11 hours apart.
In a post, Fort Worth Police identified the cases by report numbers 260055695 and 260055795 and linked to the Palette Drive footage and Renee Circle footage. The release follows preliminary accounts that one shooting began with a south Fort Worth pursuit and the other with a west Fort Worth domestic-disturbance call.

What Happened In Each Fort Worth Shooting
The Palette Drive case began Saturday night as officers searched for a man accused of tampering with an electronic ankle monitor while facing a case involving the alleged sexual assault of a minor, according to Univision Dallas-Fort Worth. Police said the man fled in a vehicle, stopped in a parking lot in the 100 block of Palette Drive and displayed a handgun when officers approached. An officer fired, killing him at the scene, and authorities later said they found a weapon inside the vehicle.
The Renee Circle shooting unfolded around 6:16 a.m. Sunday after officers were called to a domestic disturbance near the I-30 and I-820 interchange, CBS Texas reported. Police Chief Eddie Garcia said the man had kicked in an apartment door, fought with a woman and then held a knife to his own throat before ignoring commands to drop it and advancing toward officers. He was shot, taken to a hospital and later died; the man was identified as 21-year-old Andrew Isaiah Ponce.
What The Bodycam Release Adds
The videos give residents a fuller public record of both encounters, but footage alone is not a final finding on whether the officers’ use of deadly force was justified. The Fort Worth Police Department said the cases remain under investigation, and the release did not announce criminal charges or disciplinary findings.
Two days before the videos were published, CBS Texas reported that Ponce’s father was seeking the body-camera footage and said he wanted to know the truth of what happened. The release now gives Ponce’s family and the public access to the department’s account of the shooting, while separate investigative reviews continue.
Investigations Continue After Two Fatal Encounters

With the bodycam videos available, the next steps will include investigators comparing the footage with witness accounts, physical evidence and the officers’ reports.
