A family cruise out of Port Canaveral allegedly took a disturbing turn when a heavily intoxicated Georgia man confronted children playing tag and struck two of them, according to an arrest report.
David Crosby II, 44, was arrested by Brevard County deputies after the alleged onboard incident, and he is being held without bond at the Brevard County Jail, according to WESH 2 News. The report says Crosby told officials he did not remember what happened.
The Brevard County Sheriff's Office cautions that jail information can change and that an arrest is not a conviction. Crosby remains accused unless and until the allegations are resolved in court.
Children Reported Injured During Shipboard Encounter
The confrontation was recorded by the cruise ship's security-camera system, according to the arrest report cited by WESH. One child reportedly suffered a bloody lip and head pain after being struck in the face, while another reported stomach pain after an alleged blow to the abdomen.
