A man is expected to recover after being shot following a verbal argument in Greenville County, deputies said, in a Friday incident that left investigators working to determine what sparked the gunfire.
Greenville County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to a call about a shooting near Parnell Drive and Fork Shoals Road, where they found the victim with at least one gunshot wound, a detail also reported by FOX Carolina, according to WYFF News 4.
Victim Taken To Hospital
The man was taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries described as non-life-threatening, and he is expected to recover. The initial report did not identify anyone as arrested in connection with the shooting.
Deputies have not released additional details about the argument, the suspected shooter or what led to the gunfire. The investigation remains ongoing, WYFF News 4 reported, and additional information could emerge as detectives continue their work.
