Gunfire broke out in Southwest Baltimore last night, leaving multiple people shot and sending officers racing to the 2600 block of Hollins Ferry Road as the scene quickly turned into an active crime investigation.
Baltimore Police said they responded to the 2600 block of Hollins Ferry Road for what they are calling a multi-victim shooting. Detectives were seen working the scene and processing evidence as the investigation got underway. Officials have not yet released details on the victims' conditions or whether any arrests have been made, and the case remains very much in motion, according to WMAR-2 News.
Where It Happened
The shooting unfolded along a stretch of Hollins Ferry Road that cuts through the Hollins Market and Westport corridor in Southwest Baltimore. The area is lined with rowhouses and small businesses and has seen its share of gunfire in recent months.
