A spokesperson for the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office told KSAT that deputies discovered a man and a woman with gunshot wounds Friday night in southwest Bexar County and that both were pronounced dead at the scene. According to KSAT, investigators are treating the deaths as a suspected murder-suicide, and Sheriff Javier Salazar is expected to provide additional details during a Saturday morning news conference the station planned to livestream.
Medical examiner will review the case
The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office will conduct autopsies and determine the official cause and manner of death, according to the county. The office investigates sudden, violent and unexpected deaths and carries out toxicology and other forensic testing as part of those reviews.
