According to Jacksonville Daily Record, the city signed off last Friday on a permit to split a roughly 4,425-square-foot storefront at 4818 River City Drive, No. 103 into a 2,412-square-foot store for Herman Miller, with the remaining space reserved for Town Center storage. That permit pegs the immediate project cost at $147,780, while separate city filings show a build-out application for the new shop under review with an estimated cost of about $590,000.
Bid Clock Is Ticking At Suite 103
A tenant build-out listing in the LDI planroom confirms the project address as 4818 River City Drive, Suite 103 and shows a May 26 bid date for contractors, a sign that pre-construction activity has already started behind the scenes. The planned storefront, in the block near Nordstrom, has also been reported as Herman Miller’s first Jacksonville location by the Jacksonville Business Journal.
What Herman Miller Is Likely To Roll Out
