The crash happened shortly after 2 p.m., and the person was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency crews. The intersection sits on a busy state route north of downtown Waukesha.
The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department confirmed the fatal vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash, according to FOX6 Milwaukee. The station reports the victim's identity has not been released and the crash remains under investigation.
