
On July 13, Memphis police say a man walked into the Circle K on Highland Street, pointed a black handgun with an extended magazine at employees, forced them to open the cash registers, and then took off toward Spotswood Avenue.
According to the Memphis Police Department, the suspect was last seen in a blue hoodie pulled over his head, gray sweatpants, red slide shoes, and a black face mask. He is described as having a medium-to-heavy build and a medium-to-dark complexion.
What police say happened inside the store
As reported by Action News 5, investigators say the man brandished the handgun, grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash, and ran from the store toward Spotswood Avenue.
