Horizon City police are asking for the public’s help to track down two people they say sparked a July 2 house fire that ripped through a home in the 700 block of Desert Silver Drive. The blaze swallowed the house before officers got there, but everyone inside made it out, including a cat that managed to escape.

Several 911 calls came in around 2:45 a.m. reporting the fire, and responding officers arrived to find the Desert Silver Drive home fully engulfed, KVIA reported. Fire crews put out the flames and secured the scene, and officials say the exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
