Authorities said investigators were combing through evidence at the scene and that details would remain limited while the initial work was underway.

Police have not released any information on a possible motive and have asked the public to steer clear of the area while detectives process the scene. The case adds to a troubling run of family homicide-suicides that have rattled the Houston region this spring.
