A vehicle fire in a north Houston-area driveway Wednesday threatened nearby homes, sending firefighters and deputies to a residential stretch of Cobbdale Lane. Crews were working to contain the flames while residents and drivers were urged to keep their distance.
Harris County Precinct 4’s update said the fire was reported in the 2300 block of Cobbdale Lane, where Little York Fire Department crews were working to extinguish it. Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s office were assisting at the scene, and the public was asked to avoid the area and use caution.
Cause And Injuries Were Not Immediately Released
The initial update did not identify what started the fire or say whether anyone was hurt. It also did not provide a timeline for when the scene would be cleared.
