Tacos Atilano, a small chain that started as a food trailer in Arkansas, quietly opened its first Houston-area storefront Monday at 6850 FM-1960 E in Atascocita, bringing a lineup of al pastor, carne asada, chorizo and lengua street tacos to the Humble strip. The shop also serves quesabirrias, tortas and burritos, and is open for both dine-in and delivery, giving east-side taco hunters another late-night option along the busy FM-1960 corridor.
As reported by Community Impact, the Humble location opened July 20, and the business's Facebook page notes the shop is taking delivery orders through DoorDash. The outlet also confirms the restaurant's address and that it is offering dine-in service in the Atascocita shopping center.

According to the restaurant's online menu on tacosatilano.com, tacos come stacked with everything from al pastor and carne asada to suadero, cabeza, chorizo, pollo, lengua and tripa. The site also lists QuesaBirrias, tortas, burritos and a "Taquiza" 25-taco catering box. CEO Serginho Atilano is quoted on the site saying, "When I would go to Mexico in the summers, the number one thing I wanted was the food."

A public notice published in March shows Tacos Atilano LLC applied for a Mixed Beverage Permit for 6850 FM 1960 Rd E Ste A, listing Serginho Atilano as a company officer, which typically indicates plans to serve alcohol on site. The opening adds yet another player to FM-1960's long roster of taco spots.
