On its store page, IKEA wrote, "As part of our strategy to build a more affordable, accessible, and sustainable future for IKEA in the U.S., we have made the decision to close the IKEA Austin-Domain Texas Plan and order point with pick-up on August 30, 2026." According to IKEA, the studio will remain open for planning appointments through that date, and customers with active projects can either wrap them up at The Domain, move them to another store, or switch to a remote planner.
