The Fort Worth Board of Adjustment voted unanimously to grant special exceptions for two monument signs with changeable electronic copy so fuel prices can be displayed at the new Marketplace, according to the July 15 Board of Adjustment agenda from the City of Fort Worth. The agenda lists the application (BAC-26-018) for 1336 Rancho Canyon Way and identifies Kroger Texas LP as the property owner and Edwards Sign Service as the applicant, per the same city filing.

The Sendera Ranch store is planned as a roughly 122,000-square-foot Kroger Marketplace that blends a full grocery lineup with home goods and specialty counters, including a Starbucks, sushi and Murray's Cheese, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. The paper also reported that the project is expected to create about 250 to 300 jobs and sits within a roughly 20-acre shopping center at the northeast corner of Rancho Canyon Way and Sendera Ranch Boulevard.

At the July 15 hearing, company representative Ron Ramsey told board members that Kroger intends to open the Haslet Marketplace before this year's Thanksgiving holiday, according to the Fort Worth Report.
