Las Vegas Ballpark is swapping its usual baseball soundtrack for boots, country music and a mechanical bull on Thursday, Aug. 27. The Las Vegas Aviators will host the Sugar Land Space Cowboys, with gates opening at 5:30 p.m. and first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
The western-themed evening is presented by South Point Hotel, Casino and Spa and the Professional Bull Riders, according to FOX5 Vegas. In other words, fans can expect a little more yee-haw than your standard Thursday night at the ballpark.
Mechanical Bulls, Live Music And $2 Beers
The Aviators' official theme-night schedule lists a pregame concert featuring Sierra Black, mechanical bull riding and $2 beer specials. The promotion also includes country music and baseball games between innings, giving the night a built-in soundtrack beyond the crack of the bat.
Fans can also expect country-themed food, specialty cocktails and mechanical bull rides at the Hangar Bar, as FOX5 Vegas reports. A limited-edition Aviators Country Night hat will be available through a special ticket package while supplies last.
