A man was hospitalized after a late-night stabbing on Euclid Avenue in downtown Cleveland yesterday, turning a busy corridor into an active crime scene as police and emergency crews rushed in and taped off the area. Video from the scene shows first responders treating the victim on the street before he was transported to a local hospital.
As reported by FOX 8 Cleveland, the stabbing took place along Euclid Avenue and left at least one person injured. The station’s footage shows police tape wrapped around the scene and multiple first responders on site. “We’re everywhere, again, bus stops, stations, buses, trains,” Transit Police Chief Deirdre Jones told News 5 Cleveland, describing stepped-up patrols and outreach. The agency told the station it is weighing possible policy and operational changes while continuing to focus on vulnerable riders.
