
Four people were stabbed Friday night in University Park, just off the University of Southern California campus, in an attack that sent police racing to the scene and left one person in custody, authorities said. The violence erupted at about 10:15 p.m. near Adams Boulevard and Flower Street. Two victims were taken to a hospital and are listed in stable condition, while two others were treated at the scene and released.

Earlier this year, a separate stabbing on West 28th Street, just north of USC’s main campus, also ended with a woman taken into custody, underscoring a troubling pattern of violent calls in the neighborhood, according to MyNewsLA. Details about that March incident were limited at the time.
Suspect detained, probe continues
Authorities said the investigation into Friday night’s attack remains active, with detectives working witness statements and physical evidence from the area, per NBC Los Angeles. Officials added that the incident is not believed to be connected to a deadly stabbing reported in the same area the previous Sunday night.
