Two people were shot near Verbena Park early Sunday morning, and Denver police are now asking the public to help detectives piece together what happened.
According to the Denver Police Department, the shooting took place at roughly 1:03 a.m. in the Verbena Park neighborhood. Both victims were hit by gunfire but suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The case has been assigned number 26-396478 as investigators continue to gather details.
On Tuesday, police took their appeal public on X, saying the incident happened near 1151 North Verbena Street. The post noted that two people were struck and urged anyone who saw the shooting or captured video of it to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers.

The organization says tipsters may qualify for a reward of up to $2,000 for information that helps solve the case. The tip line is answered seven days a week.
