
A 27-year-old Laurel man was found shot to death Saturday night in an alley off the 4000 block of Minnesota Avenue NE in Northeast Washington, D.C., according to police. Officers discovered the man around 9:30 p.m. and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to FOX 5 DC, authorities have identified the victim as 27-year-old Aaron Brown of Laurel. The outlet reports that officers found Brown in the alley suffering from a gunshot wound and that he died where he was found.
Police Are Asking For Tips
The Metropolitan Police Department is urging anyone with information about the shooting to contact investigators at (202) 727-9099 or text the department's anonymous tip line at 50411. The department's rewards page notes that a reward of up to $25,000 may be available for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
