Project paperwork filed this week shows the brand has registered a build-out at The Domain NORTHSIDE for what would be its first Texas outpost, adding a national cookie destination to a North Austin retail cluster that already pulls in high-profile food concepts.
Project filings show Levain registered a project on July 27 that lists a 1,555-square-foot renovation at 3120 Palm Way, with construction scheduled to start Oct. 1 and wrap around March 1, 2027, and an estimated build-out cost of about $750,000. According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the project is registered as "Levain Bakery The Domain Austin."
Levain began on Manhattan’s Upper West Side in 1995 and has grown into a national name with nearly two dozen U.S. bakeries and a robust online business. The brand is best known for its over-sized, gooey chocolate-chip walnut cookies, per Levain Bakery.
