Tysons shoppers may soon have another reason to pause their food-court routine: Maman Joon is preparing to return to Tysons Corner Center with its Persian kabobs. The restaurant will be moving into a new storefront, but the opening date is still under wraps.
The new location will occupy a ground-floor space across from Panda Express and California Pizza Kitchen, according to What Now Media. For now, both the restaurant and mall are keeping the timeline simple: coming soon.
Fresh Kabobs And Family Recipes Are On The Way
Maman Joon’s menu centers on Persian and Mediterranean cooking, with chicken, lamb, beef and salmon kabobs among the restaurant’s signature offerings. The brand says its dishes are built around fresh ingredients, family recipes and spices sourced largely from Iran, according to Maman Joon’s website.
The regional chain already operates locations across Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia, and its own locations page lists the Tysons shop as “coming soon.” The Tysons Corner Center directory likewise places the restaurant on Level 1, giving hungry shoppers a general idea of where to look once the doors open.
No public launch date has been announced yet, so diners will have to wait a little longer before the kabobs make their Tysons comeback. When Maman Joon does open, it will add another fast-casual Persian option to one of the region’s busiest shopping and dining hubs.
