Jurors concluded Redmon forced his way into a residence, assaulted a man inside, then later returned as a passenger in a vehicle that opened fire on a porch. Marion County Prosecutor Ray Grogan announced that the jury found Redmon guilty of six counts of attempted murder, six counts of felonious assault and one count of aggravated burglary, according to WSYX/FOX28. Grogan called the shooting "a dangerous and reckless act that put both police officers and innocent bystanders at serious risk" and said his office will seek the maximum prison terms allowed. The verdict caps a case that prosecutors describe as involving both an initial assault inside the home and a second round of violence aimed at bystanders and responding officers on the porch.
Investigation And Related Plea
Prosecutors say the crimes trace back to Sept. 22, 2025, when Redmon allegedly forced his way into a house on the 100 block of North Grand Avenue, assaulted a man inside and later rode as a passenger in a white Ford Explorer. From that SUV, four rounds were allegedly fired toward a porch where two officers and four residents were standing. Investigators used neighborhood Flock cameras to identify the vehicle and followed the trail to an address where officers found Redmon hiding inside a hollowed-out log behind a house, according to reports. A teenager linked to the same incident pleaded guilty in May to complicity in the drive-by and faces a lengthy prison term, per reporting from WHIO.

Redmon is awaiting sentencing, and prosecutors say he could face decades behind bars. His attorney did not respond to requests for comment.
