The long teased Top Gun attraction on the Las Vegas Strip finally has a precise landing zone. Advent Allen Entertainment has bought a vacant lot on the south end of the boulevard and says it will turn the space into a Top Gun themed experience, putting the franchise name squarely in the tourist corridor near the city's iconic "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign.
The site and the deal
Advent Allen paid $12.5 million for the 2.48 acre parcel at 4815 South Las Vegas Boulevard, according to county records reported by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The paper reports the lot sits between the Little Church of the West and the Pinball Hall of Fame, putting the project in the middle of a busy south Strip stretch that already draws a steady stream of sightseers.
What the attraction will include
The venture, described as Top Gun Vegas in company materials, is being developed by Advent Allen in partnership with Paramount and will feature immersive attractions, flight simulators, experiential retail and themed dining, including a reimagined Hard Deck bar from Top Gun: Maverick, according to PR Newswire. The release says guests will "embark on a pulse-pounding mission" using state of the art ride systems and immersive media.

"Prepare for takeoff!" the PR Newswire announcement declared, leaning into the kind of show-biz language Vegas developers favor. Advent Allen founders Mark Advent and A. William "Bill" Allen III said in the statement that they aim to create a destination that combines thrills, food and film nostalgia for fans and casual visitors alike.
Where this fits on the Strip
The parcel’s neighbors help make the location an easy add to a Strip stroll: the Pinball Hall of Fame is a block away and the Little Church of the West sits on the nearby corner, according to Travel Nevada and the chapel’s site at the Little Church of the West. That photo-friendly stretch has long been a waypoint for visitors, and a new themed attraction could give people one more reason to linger and spend a little more on nearby dining and retail.
What’s next
Advent Allen’s announcement did not include a firm construction timeline for the newly acquired lot, although earlier company materials and Yahoo News coverage tied a Top Gun venue to a summer 2028 target when the project was first unveiled. For now the developer still has to finalize designs, pursue permits and line up contractors before any visible work starts on the site.
