According to WISN, Milwaukee police said the shooting happened near North 8th Street and West Brown Street. Investigators said the pedestrian fired once and the round hit the vehicle.
The pedestrian was arrested on suspicion of recklessly endangering safety, police said. The driver was arrested on suspicion of operating while intoxicated and recklessly endangering safety, and no injuries were reported.

Milwaukee police said the case will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office for possible charges, WISN reported. That referral means prosecutors will review the evidence before deciding whether to file formal criminal counts.

The latest gunfire comes at a park that was also central to a separate fatal shooting case. In June, 17-year-old Sharahn Patrick pleaded guilty in the 2024 killing of 18-year-old Jaylan Powell at Carver Park, according to Hoodline's coverage.
